My name is Shawna Gillette and I teach kindergarten. I began teaching at the Stratford Elementary School in 2005. I graduated from UW-Stout in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I completed my Master's Degree in Education from Viterbo University in 2009.
Kindergarten is a time of new beginnings, of making friends, and learning lots of new things each day. Our days are filled with wonderful experiences and opportunities for learning and growing.
My Mission is to create a quality classroom where the students feel safe both physically and emotionally. I will ensure that each student's unique learning needs are met in fun and interesting ways. Students will learn how to take responsibility for their own actions.
