My name is Jodi Wenzel, and I am delighted to be your child’s 4K teacher this year.  I began my teaching career as a 4K teacher at St. Joseph’s School, and have been teaching at Stratford Elementary since 2007.  I first taught Kindergarten here for two years, and have been teaching 4K ever since!

4K is a time of new beginnings, making new friends, and learning lots of new things each and every day.  We will learn about letters and sounds, numbers, shapes, patterns, and so much more.  We even will learn how to READ!  There will be time each day for playing with our friends, exploring, and using our imaginations!  During this first year of school a tremendous amount of growth takes place physically, emotionally, and academically.

Please feel free to call me (715-687-3535 Ext. 1124) if you ever have any questions or concerns.  It is hard to take phone calls during the school day, so the best time to reach me via phone is before or after school.  Email also works well as a way to get in contact with me, as I check my email daily (jowenzel@gapps.stratford.k12.wi.us). I am looking forward to a fun-filled year with you and your child!
