Meet the Stratford High School Counselor & Counseling Services
As a Stratford School District Counselor I believe that:
All students are capable of achieving high levels of success
Students deserve for their developmental needs and individual differences to be supported by a comprehensive school counseling program
The home & school connection is valuable and plays an important part in a student's social, emotional and academic growth.
School counselors must be leaders, advocates, and collaborators who create equitable access to rigorous curriculum and opportunities for self-directed personal growth for every student
Each student must have access to full-time, state certified, masters-degree level school counselors to deliver the comprehensive school counseling program and abide by the ASCA Ethical Standards
The school counseling program is planned, coordinated, and evaluated with input from the educational community and other community members
I will use data to design, implement, evaluate, and continuously improve the comprehensive school counseling program
I will honor the district mission: Committed to Students, Committed to Community, Committed to Excellence
I look forward to an exciting school year! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me: sabaltus@gapps.stratford.k12.wi.us 715-687-4311 ext. 2131
