When in my classes, students must comply with the following policies:
1. Common courtesy and respect for one another is expected at all times.
2. Come to class on time or have a valid pass.
3. No hats, inappropriate attire, or inappropriate language will be tolerated.
4. Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.
5. Do not take materials out of the room without teacher permission.
6. Keep the Art Room clean. Clean up after yourself.
DISCIPLINE PLAN
Students are graded on a daily basis. If a student attends class and puts forth effort and displays proper behavior, he/she receives 5 points for that class period. If a student comes to class but displays inappropriate behavior and is wasting time, the student will receive 0 points for that class period.
Classroom disruptions from students acting inappropriate (profanity, inappropriate conversations, rude or crude actions or comments to the teacher or other students) is not exceptable behavior.
CONSEQUENCES
1. If a student receives 0 pts. because of behavior, a warning will be given.
2. A second 0 pts. given for a class period because of behavior problems will result in a 15 minute detention before or after school with the teacher.
3. If a student receives a third 0 pts. because of behavior problems, he/she will receive a 2 hour detention.
4. If a fourth 0 pts. occurs, the student will again receive a 2 hour detention and parents will be contacted by the Principal.
5. If a fifth 0 pts. occurs, again because of inappropriate behavior, the student will be removed from the class permanently.
